🎬 Behind the Screen: Building a Business in Boots, Not Heels
Let’s get real for a second.
Running a marketing agency from a small town in Southwestern Manitoba doesn’t exactly look like what you see on Pinterest. There’s no trendy co-working space, no team of interns running for coffee, and no glossy boardroom meetings.
There’s me — a busy mom of two, working from my laptop between full time job, school drop-offs, sports, event setups, shop visits, and coffee-fueled brainstorm sessions on the tailgate of a truck.
This is Red Flare Media. And it wasn’t built in a boardroom. It was built in the field.
🧠From Kitchen Manager to Marketing Strategist
I didn’t plan to be here. My story started in the kitchen — literally. After getting my Culinary Arts diploma in Vancouver, I ran kitchens for years before realizing I needed something different for my family and my future.
What started as helping my dad promote his custom auto business turned into a full-blown marketing hustle — and eventually, my own company. Red Flare Media was born out of grit, late nights, and the realization that trades-based businesses deserve powerful, professional marketing too.
🔥 We Don’t Just “Post for You” — We Build Brand Heat
Here’s the truth: most small-town businesses aren’t looking for fluff. They’re looking for real results. They want:
- Facebook posts that actually drive calls, clicks, and customers
- Job ads that bring in reliable workers, not spam
- Event promos that fill parking lots
- A brand that actually feels like them
Red Flare Media is designed for that. For welders. Mechanics. Oilfield crews. Boutique owners. Farm-to-table brands. Anyone who’s too damn busy working to worry about “the algorithm.”
You handle the tools. I’ll handle the pixels.
✨ You Don’t Have to Look Like a Big City Brand to Succeed
One of the biggest lies small business owners are told is that they have to look like some polished corporate giant to grow. Not true.
What your customers want is authenticity, consistency, and value.
We take what’s already amazing about your business — your work ethic, your personality, your story — and we amplify it. Through social, print, web, and word-of-mouth magic.
đźšś Small-Town Proud, Prairie-Loud
Every business I work with reminds me why I love this work. Because I know what it’s like to bet on yourself, to wear all the hats, and to keep showing up — rain or shine.
So whether you’re a one-person welding shop, a family-owned mechanic garage, or a company looking to level up your hiring game…
You’ve got a story to tell. I’m just here to help light the match.
