Taking Red Flare Media Live: The Post That Took the Most Courage
As of January 1, 2026, Red Flare Media officially went live.
The website was up. The brand was real. The work had already started.
But it wasn’t until January 8 that I did something that felt much harder I shared it on my personal Facebook page.
Posting on my business page felt safe. That’s what it’s there for. It’s expected. It’s professional. It’s controlled.
Posting on my personal page was different.
That post meant putting myself out there in a way that felt raw and exposed. It meant sharing something I built with the people who have known me in every season of my life before the business name, before the plans, before the confidence. It meant letting friends, family, and my community see something I care deeply about and hope will succeed.
And that took a lot.
After I hit the share button, I just sat there frozen. Unsure of what would happen next. Unsure of how it would be received. Unsure if anyone would even care.
A couple minutes went by… and then my phone lit up.
It started with a few likes. Then congratulatory comments. Then more notifications. And then people started sharing the post again and again and again.
Later that night, I checked the views on that single post and saw it had reached around 5,000 views.
The next day, it climbed to 8,000 views.
And then today, I looked again over 11,000 views.
I’m honestly speechless.
Starting a business isn’t just about logos, websites, or social media strategies. It’s about vulnerability. It’s about believing in yourself enough to say, “This matters to me.” It’s about standing behind your work even when it feels uncomfortable.
That moment sitting there after hitting share reminded me how powerful community really is.
Red Flare Media was built from real life, busy days, late nights, courage in the quiet moments, and support from an incredible community.
This is just the beginning. And I’m beyond grateful for every person who has supported, shared, commented, and believed in this journey so far.
As I’m writing this at 11:30 on a Tuesday night, on my second BIG cup of coffee, knowing full well I have an early morning , school drop-off to handle, work all day, and hockey practice tomorrow night.
But here I am.
Because this matters.
Because this moment deserves to be written down.
Because sometimes the best things are built late at night, in the quiet, when you’re tired but proud and still showing up anyway.
This is real life. This is the work. And this is Red Flare Media.
